A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of being invited to Lisa Perry's SPLATTER event where I got to get down on my knees, play with paint and splatter my own make-up bag with a variety of colors. Let's just say it was the most fun, colorful and creative project I've done as an adult.
This event was to promote Lisa's collaboration with Publicolor, an organization that helps high-risk students further their education through design-based programs. After chatting to a few of Publicolor's representatives, I fell in love with their idea that bright colors and designs on school walls help keep kids excited about coming to school.
Lisa and Publicolor's collaboration has produced a limited edition capsule collection of bags, purses and clothing - all splattered. The line is now available for purchase with 20% of all proceeds going towards Publicolor.
